Although there is no formal affiliation of the Tuna Canyon Detention Station Coalition and other camps, members attended the 2014 and 2015 Manzanar Pilgrimage as well as the 2014 Tule Lake Pilgrimage

During the past two years, members of the Tuna Canyon Detention Station Coalition participated at the Day of Remembrance that marks the date when Executive Order 9066 was signed by President Roosevelt.
It is an annual event held at the Japanese American National Museum located in Little Tokyo.

The National Park Service designated the Honouli’uli Internment Camp, US Army facility, that is under the auspices of the Japanese Culture Center of Hawaii, as a national historic site on February 19, 2015. Tuna Canyon researchers will travel to Hawaii, to the National Archives in Washington, D.C., to prepare its museum quality traveling exhibit.
