Konko Church, Reverend Taichi Tsuyuki, was among the 2000 detainees at Tuna Canyon. On October 2, 2016, his son, Reverend Dr. Yoshi Tsuyuki, blessed the traveling exhibit based on World War II as a reminder to the world that we must learn from history. Dignitaries like Secretary Norman Y. Mineta, Supervisor Antonovich, JANM CEO Ann Burroughs, and Consul General Akira Chiba congratulated the community on the achievement.
